How it works

Ibiza runs on a weekly rhythm

You don't pick a club — you pick a night. Each venue runs the same signature party on the same weekday, all season. Learn the grid once and the whole island opens up.

01

Residencies rule

Music On owns Fridays at Pacha. Black Coffee owns Saturdays at Hï. The night, not the building, is the brand.

02

Day into night

Ushuaïa and the beach clubs run open-air in daylight and finish by midnight — then you roll on to a club that goes till 6am+.

03

Opening & closing

Late-April openings and the October closings are the wildest, cheapest-to-hype dates of the year. Plan around them.

04

Pre-party the pre-party

Sunset at San Antonio or Es Vedrà, dinner, then the club. Nothing real starts before 1am. Pace yourself.

The story

From island of the gods to the capital of dance

Phoenician shrines, 1970s hippies, a Balearic DJ who quietly rewired British music, and the rise of the superclub. How a small Mediterranean island became the beating heart of electronic music.

Nine rooms worth crossing the sea for

Know before you go

The stuff nobody tells you

Ibiza rewards the prepared. A few honest pointers so your first big night isn't your most expensive lesson.

🎟️

Book tickets ahead

Big nights sell out and the door is far pricier than pre-sale. Buy through the club or Ibiza Spotlight — skip touts. Entry runs roughly €40–90.

💸

Budget for the bar

Water can be €10–20, a mixed drink €18–25. It's the real cost of a night out. Pre-hydrate and eat before you go in.

🕐

Go late, leave later

Clubs open ~11:30pm but fill after 1–2am and run to 6am+ (some to noon). Headliners often play 3–5am. Nap. Seriously.

🚕

Sort your ride home

Taxis vanish at closing. Pre-book a transfer, use the Ibiza taxi app, or know the Discobus routes to Playa d'en Bossa & San Antonio.

👕

Dress the room

Pacha and the town clubs like effort — no vests or flip-flops. Ushuaïa and DC-10 are relaxed. When unsure, dress up.

💧

Look after yourself

The heat and long nights are the real risk. Drink water, know where the medical point is, stay with friends, and never take anything from a stranger. Look out for each other.

Beyond the clubs

Daytime & sunset

The island isn't only 3am rooms. Line up the daylight properly and the night looks after itself.
